Scope & Description
Across different educational contexts, there is an increasing need to address key challenges driven by digital transformation, diverse learner profiles, and evolving societal and professional demands. These challenges include improving learning outcomes, supporting personalized learning paths, enhancing student engagement, and assisting educators in increasingly complex environments. Both academia and industry must respond to these changes, as they are shaping the future of education.
In this context, Artificial Intelligence plays a central role in enabling new approaches to teaching and learning. Areas such as intelligent tutoring systems, learning analytics, and AI-assisted educational tools contribute to the development of more adaptive, data-informed, and learner-centered solutions. While existing digital education methods have addressed current needs, there is a clear demand for more advanced and scalable approaches.
This special track provides an opportunity to present and discuss recent theoretical developments and practical applications of AI in education, including methods for personalization, student modeling, automated feedback, and human-AI interaction in learning environments.
